Echoes at Sunset – New tour – 09/19
Echoes at Sunset is a new 4-hour, self-guided experience inside the historic Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, guests are free to roam all four floors of the main building at their own pace. As daylight fades, the building transforms — perfect for photographers, history lovers, ghost hunters, and the curious alike. Knowledgeable guides are stationed throughout the building to answer questions and add insight.
Bring a flashlight, wear good shoes, and prepare to explore the past in the fading light of day.
Asylum After Dark (O9/26 through 11/01)
Join us for Asylum After Dark, our celebration of all things spooky. Starting at the end of September and continuing throughout October, we have what you need. Award-winning Haunted House, FORSAKEN, 3 NEW Flashlight tours, Paranormal Tours, and Ghost Hunts.
Plus special events: Fall Festival and The Asylum Ball.
The Haunted House FORSAKEN (O9/26 through 11/01)
Within the echoing corridors of a once-renowned local hospital, an unhinged doctor has transformed the haunting nightmares of his patients into tangible horrors. Cast aside by society, these forsaken souls now dwell in the shadowy depths of what was once their sanctuary. Their existence, consumed by the doctor’s sinister experiments, revolves solely around serving his twisted desires. In a relentless struggle, these tormented patients claw their way through an altered existence, succumbing to deranged hallucinations before being molded into grotesque abominations by the doctor’s malevolent hands.
We dare you to embark on a harrowing expedition into the Asylum, where the boundaries between realities converge and warp inexplicably.

During Asylum After Dark, explore the historic Kirkbride Building and the Medical Center by flashlight!

Fall Festival (October 4th)
We’ll be continuing the tradition of great family fun for all ages. We have a variety of vendors offering an assortment of food, crafts, etc.: karaoke, talent competitions, costume contests, children’s games, and more.
Opportunities to explore the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum include Heritage, Paranormal, Flashlight Tours, and our Haunted House.

Asylum Ball (October 18th)
Join us at the Asylum Ball for an unforgettable evening where history, entertainment, and the spirit of Halloween converge in the eerie atmosphere of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum!
The Asylum Ball boasts multiple live bands, a vibrant DJ section, and an outdoor courtyard featuring cozy fire barrels. Visitors can also explore booths featuring psychics for intriguing readings or enjoy the delicious food options available throughout the event.
Please note that this event is strictly for individuals aged 21 and above, and a valid ID will be required for admission. You can bring your drinks to the Asylum Ball as a BYOB event. However, there is a limit of one cooler per person. Please drink responsibly!
